A hazy marsh scene created using drip/splatter techniques with acrylic paint, 2006. Loosely based on my 1992 Serenity pastel piece, this was done during my abstract acrylic period (roughly 2004 - 2011), and became the basis for the 2015 Swamp Things pastel experiment.

I ran a volunteer art program from 2003 - 2010, directing and participating in a variety of arts and performances. In 2014 I was accepted into the Spanish Village Art Community in San Diego's Balboa Park, where I currently exhibit. The beauty and majesty of nature can be breathtaking. Most of my images are from real places, either somewhere I have been or perhaps saw in a photo. Some images may be a combination of things from the real world, but there's always at least a little...
