I was at Mission Beach when I saw this fantastic cloud formation. It was too dark for a photo, so I had to etch the image in my head and run home to paint it, 2015.

I moved to San Diego in 1997 and fell into North Park's "Ray at Night" art community for a few years. I ran a volunteer art program from 2003 - 2010, directing and participating in a variety of arts and performances. In 2014 I was accepted into the Spanish Village Art Community in San Diego's Balboa Park, where I currently exhibit. The beauty and majesty of nature can be breathtaking.
