Around The Bend 02 canvas print by Michael Heikkinen. Bring your artwork to life with the texture and depth of a stretched canvas print. Artist's Description
This was from a photo I took down on the path by Lake Murray near San Diego. The road was asphalt, but I wanted something more like a yellow road through an emerald glade... April 2004.

I moved to San Diego in 1997 and fell into North Park's "Ray at Night" art community for a few years. I ran a volunteer art program from 2003 - 2010, directing and participating in a variety of arts and performances. In 2014 I was accepted into the Spanish Village Art Community in San Diego's Balboa Park, where I currently exhibit. The beauty and majesty of nature can be breathtaking. Most of my images are from real places, either somewhere I have been or perhaps saw in a photo. Some images may be a combination of things from the real world, but there's always at least a little...
